Gordon Brown is an energy advisor with a focus on hybrid solutions with battery energy storage technologies at the centre. He is an experienced entrepreneur and project manager with a demonstrated history of successes in energy related media and business development. As well as being skilled in management, stakeholder engagement, and business facilitation. Gordon is also the director of energy consultancy - Altum Energy (Pty) Ltd. He is also a lawyer by qualification holding a BSocSci(Economics) Llb (UKZN).
JAMES DALRIMPLE
Operations Director Director
James has been constructing quality Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems for both residential and commercial Clients for more than 13 years in the Western Cape. He is a qualified planner and installer of Solar PV systems.
MICHAEL LEIGHTON
Technical Director
Michael Leighton is an electrical Engineer specialising in the Energy Sector. He holds a BSc and a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a MSc in Sustainability and Energy Engineering, and thus has a solid theoretical and practical background in the Energy Engineering field.
As a result of over six years in the field, he has a wealth of experience in both the public and private space of the Energy Sector, particularly in relation to solar PV project and construction management, technical design and installation, project licencing and permitting, tender development and management, stakeholder engagement, energy auditing and tariff modelling.
CISCO AVONTUUR
Senior Electrical Technician, PMP
Cisco Avontuur is an qualified Electrician specialising in installation compliance and certification. He holds a Electrical trade test, a Wiremans license, National Diploma in Project Management (A.I.E)and has PMP certification(P.M.I). He is a firm believer that solar is the way forward and he enjoys bringing energy security to our clients.
LEANNE LOGAN
New business requisition & Administration
With over 18 years of experience in business and project management, Leanne has a consistent track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. She is skilled in the provision of high-level administration support and in coordinating large teams. Leanne is an innovative administrator with particular expertise in directing and enhancing administrative procedures and providing full support to ensure the delivery of an excellent client experience.
DANNY NAUDE
Installations and Project Manager
Danny has 11 years’ of experience on solar project installation, both DC and AC and has been with Blue Sky Solar since its inception. He is a fully qualified installer and completed the “Solar Power Technician course” at Maxx Solar Academy in 2015.
